Re: The Bar
DeWitt had started a tab before he left on the "business" he wouldn't tell her about. Piper didn't know why but it made her all the more curious to find out what. He was surprised she hadn't resisted too much to wearing a band around her neck that displayed his family crest. Emerson assured her everyone would notice it and know she belonged to him but that the idea was to keep her safe. The brunette rolled her eyes as she smiled but only said she'd wear it if it made me feel secure enough to let her have some fun on her own now and again. It was a silky material that didn't irritate her neck in any way and even went with her outfit. She wondered if the outfit was what encouraged the request in the first place.
Her mask was simple but definitely made up for it by coming with a pair of matching gloves that replaced any idea for jewellery. Piper saw a few dances up on the poles and looked on with jealousy. They had small groups crowding around them and even sticking bills in strategic places in their attire. This was so much fun. But first, the brunette would need a drink, or six, to really gain the courage to climb up there herself. "Can I get a double whiskey neat, please? And keep 'em coming?" The bartender chuckled at the request but took out a glass anyway as she turned to lean back on her elbows at the bar.
