The slave leaned against the car door, worried. He could be ignorant sometimes, but even he knew now that there was definitely something wrong with his master.
Once they were at the estate, Liam followed the vampire inside the house. When the other man turned to look at him, and asked him that question, Liam's jaw dropped open, and he stared back, absolutely puzzled. “What.. what do you mean?”
The slave winced, when Carrick touched his cheek, and at that snarl, every cell in Liam's body screamed at him to get the fuck away from here. He paled, as he started to slightly tremble. “I didn't.. He didn't do anything with me, master!” Liam half glared at the vampire, not understanding at all what exactly Carrick thought he was lying about, which was more than aggravating to him. “I don't know what you mean. I am telling the truth!”
