Liam frowned. “I would not hide behind the buckler. I just need to block you once at least to have you offer an opening.”
He didn't get why Zoro wouldn't want him to draw the sword completely, but it was his weapon and he would handle it as he said. He took the handle and grabbed the sheath, cracking it a bit open. The blade was thin but the sword was heavier as he expected. “I like the weight. It's more or less the same as mine.” He glanced up at Zoro again. “I have a falchion. My master lets me keep it and sometimes even trains me.”
He brushed with his thumb over the handguard piece. “Okay, I must admit, that it's a nice sword.” He grinned at the other man and revealed a bit more of the sword, then looked over the edge. He would never manage to keep his falchion this sharp. “Do you still practice with those?”
