"And an awful one," Isaac assured him. He had no idea how he would have been able to have slaves of his own, with his need to submit. People had told him that it wouldn't be so strong, if he hadn't been mistreated, but he wasn't sure he believed it.
It reassured him, to hear that Derek didn't plan to send him away. There had been more than one instance where Isaac's papers had been drafted, and the slave had taken and destroyed them. He had been worried it would happen again, now that Stiles had come.
"I can teach him what I know, Sir," he said, wanting to please Derek. "I hope it will be enough. I wasn't really trained properly myself."
