"I do a lot of the time," he answered her honestly. "Sometimes it's better to just hope people don't notice rather than be spent on that much energy. You never know with this kind of town, and I'll be fucked if I'm going out during a goddamn Full Moon having spent it. Color me paranoid." He shrugged, figuring he had to have been doing something right all this time if most of the town still assumed he was a fuckwit.
"I'll keep that in mind," Emerson added to the comment about her weapon of choice with a grin. Whatever she'd said, he didn't seem put off by it. It was harder to fool witches most of them time.
