Laura covered his hand with her's, squeezing it reassuringly. She needed to let go of this. She needed to trust him.
"It matters more than anything." She said calmly, turning her head and pecking a kiss to his hand. She turned around to face him, the tears having dried up. "You're saving him. Maybe spending time with her... He'll see that." She linked their hands, looking at the floor. "If you want to go and collect him though, I won't stand in your way."
