When I was mortal I learned to fight with something similar - it was called the Xiphos. Very short and very deadly. It was about a foot and a half long. Just long enough to reach the other man's heart." He spoke almost fondly.
Genuine interest sparked in Carrick's normally cold eyes as he watched Liam thrust forwards towards the dummy. "Very good." He touched a few different spots on the dummy. "Liver. Lungs. Stomach.
