To say Ambrose had been avoiding Buffy was to say that sun set in the east. After the moment they had shared Ambrose left the room and stopped coming up stairs when she was around. He knew he was being cowardly but he couldn't face her, at least not for a while. That turned into several days. Finally on the day that he wanted to talk to her, he heard the door. Checking to see if his ring was in place, he was already dressed, Ambrose went up the stairs to his room, then out the door of his room before locking it.
He hurried to the door before Buffy could get to and opened it. Outside was a petite blond in a stunning outfit. Ambrose paused for a moment to appreciate the view, he was after all only a man when he heard Buffy inside. "Can I help you?" He asked of the girl before turning to look at Buffy and his jaw dropped. She was wearing that skirt that he bought their second day together. It made his body tighten just seeing it.
Resisting the urge to slap the door in the other women's face and take Buffy in his arms. He turned back around to the other blond. "Uh..can I help you?" he asked again, knowing how dumb he sounded.
