As escape attempts went, this one had to be the worst in all of history. Not only would a Vampire be chasing him, but one in the grips of seriously utter blood-lust. Not only was it doomed to fail from the start and not to mention dangerous, it was utterly irresponsible. In attempting to escape he had not only endangered his own life but that of every slave she owned.
By some sheer miracle, perhaps due to her contest with her affliction or maybe even the less likely notion that she cared to much to kill her slave girls, she managed to refrain from attacking any of her slaves. Stiles was not so lucky.
With all the grace and speed that Vampirism had granted her, Eterna was in front of Stiles within seconds. Under other circumstances she might have quipped a witticism or mockingly scolded him but instead her elongated incisors pierced the skin of his neck and sunk into his jugular vein. She gripped him tightly as she drank, this wasn't the controlled way she usually drank from a human on rare occasion but a far more savage, predatorial, lustful desperation for blood.
