Emrys threw himself into his work, making sure every inch of the floor was clean. As he worked, he started to think about why Mir had purchased him in the first place. Surely Jenn did just fine cleaning their home by herself. He remembered the auction and the way he was bid for. Maybe their master only wanted him because of his virginity. His heart felt heavy as his mind warred with itself, wishing more than anything that he could talk with his mother. The ache in his chest grew as he though about her. He missed her so much.
Needing a distraction, Emrys dropped the brush into the bucket and headed back to the kitchen, figuring Jenn would be done with making lunch by now. Picking up the kettle, the boy filled it with water before grabbing a mug. "Would you like some tea Jenn?" He asked as he pulled out a bag and setting it in the empty glass.
