Morgan smiled. He would have bid on the young man regardless, but it was good to know it was now a wanted form of attention. It also felt good to know that Simon would be going home, where he knew it was safe. There was nothing worse than being outbid by someone he knew was cruel, and not being able to do a thing about it.
"Good, it's settled then," he said, standing up from his chair.
"I, uh... I don't want you to do anything you're uncomfortable with, but I'm a man of limited means. If there is anyway you might come down with a nasty cough, once you're up on the auction block, my wallet would thank you significantly. People don't want to buy a sick slave."
