John had left the house with an aimless goal of simply deciding to do what drew his attention; it wasn't until he spotted the small, obviously new tattoo shop that he decided just what he was doing this evening. He'd always intended to get one, especially Cortana's name somewhere on his body. While he was learning to move on, she was still the most important person in his life, even after her death, and he knew he had to make sure he paid tribute to her.
Stepping through the door, John was busy taking in the shop when his eyes finally fell on the artist herself. Brow raising when he noticed her, he didn't waste time in letting his eyes take her in entirely, followed by a smirk and a bow of his head, "Hello Miss. I thought you could, maybe. I was looking to get a tattoo, nothing too complicated just a name."
Shrugging his shoulders then, he took another look around, noting the inks still being set up, "I take it you just moved in here? The shop that is. Hopefully I'm not being too premature or don't need an appointment...?" He left the question open ended while keeping his eyes locked onto her own.
