He cracked an eye open at his master, clearly not all that cross about it, but really he'd like to get those extra two hours of sleep he was missing out on. Six wasn't anything to sneeze at, not when he was fairly used to getting two or three at a stretch.
Speaking of stretching, he did just that and rolled over onto his back. Yawning again he managed to shake himself out of it enough to curl up with his head in Carrick's lap. "You want me back in his head again, don't you?" Hermes wasn't an idiot and there was really only one reason he'd be coming over to bug him: the angel was being stubborn. How unsurprising.
