"That's...an astute observation, actually," Derek admitted, the corner of his mouth curling upwards in approval. "I'm assuming that Deaton wouldn't have sent Scott back to us if he hadn't found an anchor, but I still have...concerns."
Anchors were personal, and Scott and Derek hadn't talked about what the younger werewolf's anchor was, but again, it was something that Laura should be helping him with, as his Alpha.
"If you see Scott...slipping," the elder werewolf began, "you should talk to someone about it. Me, or Laura. It's not a betrayal, to admit that Scott needs help. It's the only way we can make sure he won't hurt someone, including himself. Do you understand?"
