"You being good at many things is the problem." She muttered under her breath, taking the pacifier and wiggling it in front of Mark's face, the baby grabbing onto it in a fist and throwing it on the bed. Allison found herself smiling at the action and rolling her eyes - she definitely had a soft spot for Mark, but she loved them both, genuinely.
"Hey hey, quiet time now." She whispered, rubbing his back and putting the pacifier back in his mouth. She glanced at Alcuin at last, before looking down again.
"He doesn't ask for much. I'm sure there's other things you can do for him. It's not like we ate like kings back at the camp." She shrugged, focusing on Mark again, it being the calmer of the two things to do right now. There was a long pause of silence, not knowing what to say.
"I'd probably still be with him if he hadn't bought you." She said eventually, sighing. "So forgive me if I'm allowed to not be exactly thrilled with knowing you two'll be... together."
