Allison turned her back to Alcuin, laying Morgan against her chest, and rubbing his pack softly, bouncing him as she'd seen Derek do, and she moved around the room, shushing him gently, kissing the top of his head. She muttered words to him softly, hoping just the tone of her voice would be enough for him. The cries grew quieter, but were still small whimpers, and she sighed.
"Morgan, please stop, I'm sorry but I need to see why your brothers upset." She sighed, stroking the baby's head, before hesitantly approaching Alcuin. Her eyes were fixed on Mark rather than Alcuin, and she cleared her throat. "Do you want to stick with him, or want to swap?"
