Allison hadn't been avoiding Derek. She hadn't. Well not exclusively, because she'd been avoiding everyone. Heather had come by once or twice to talk to her in the past two days, and Allison had probably been overly rude - keeping her back to her while she answered her questions, and just staring at the ceiling when she checked her over. She'd even been avoiding Stiles, keeping her door to the bathroom locked so he couldn't wander in unannounced.
So when Isaac came and told her that Derek wanted to see her, she assumed that it was about the whole being antisocial, because she'd taken Wednesday off, but had just neglected to leaving her room on Thursday as well.
Nodding, she moved through the house to Derek's room, knocking once to let him know that she was coming in, and opening the door, she paused, staring.
"Are you kidding me?" She asked, raising her eyebrows at him. Pushing the door shut behind her, she walked over, her arms folded, and her heart picking up. Derek looked like a natural, the way the baby was being held and soothed, and she ignored her stomach twisting tightly. "You wanted to see me?" She said, looking at him.
