"Good." Watching the siblings together, Aubrey saw the differences between them as clear as night and day. Sure, they were both serious about pack stuff, as any Alpha and their sibling would be. Laura was just a little less pensive about it, while Derek seemed to be very concentrated on it.
"Look, I'm sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way or came off to be flippant or whatever. I was just trying to break the ice a little. However, you're free to glare at me anytime. We can have a glaring contest sometime or something."
Raising a brow at the way Derek spoke to Laura, Aubrey wasn't in a position to say anything. She wasn't a part of this pack... not officially, not yet. Even if and when she was, it still wouldn't be her place to say anything, but she'd never been one to keep her mouth shut. When he spoke about the company being vague, she perked up. This was something she'd always been good at... getting what she wanted, when she wanted it.
"If you want... I could give them a call. I have a knack for pinning people down to specifics and getting them to do what I want... At least the majority of the time."
