Derek decided the best course of action was to ignore Aubrey's comments, because it took too much effort to be actively annoyed and respond to them. It seemed like his sister enjoyed the redhead's company, but he wasn't about to do more than restrain himself from actively snapping at her. He was sure she was perfectly nice, even if her fur was ruffled by Derek's social inadequacy. Whatever. They'd ambushed him.
