Morgan set himself into the chair, close enough to talk, but far enough away that he wouldn't be tempted to touch Simon again. Even after the consequences of the last time, it was still always at the front of his mind.
"Yes, yes that's fine," he said casually. "I think she'd enjoy that, just make sure she stays out of trouble, and that your emblems are showing."
He hated calling them collars. He had been careful that they didn't look like transitional collars, so calling them that seemed foolish. Still, he liked the feeling it gave him when he would occasionally catch a glimpse of his initial hanging around Simon's neck. He hated himself for it.
"She's been doing well lately, but she's worried about you. Have you been having nightmares lately? She said you were talking all the time. You know River, that could mean anything..."
