Laura nodded nonchalantly at Aubrey's admittance, almost as though they'd been talking about the weather, or some other empty statement. In Laura's eyes, a wolf was a wolf. No scent or otherwise defined whether they were full, or half, or turned. And if there was one, Laura had never even considered noticing it.
"There were a few members of my family who had a similar lineage." She explained, rubbing her shoulder gently. "Where you came from doesn't matter... If you became pack, that would be all that mattered. We see our slaves as part of the pack, one of them having a child would simply be an extension of our family. If other packs have reacted badly to that, I'm sorry that you had to meet them."
