"He is." Laura confirmed with a nod, laughing slightly at the question. "More than stand and let you watch, he'd probably appreciate more if you helped." She couldn't help but notice the look the other female gave her, though she was determined to not let it show on her features - while attention didn't make her uncomfortable, there was still a large part of her that said she didn't deserve it. "I might be helping out occasionally with the construction - we can't let the men have all the fun, after all." She teased, finishing her bottle, and placing it in a black trash bag that was still draped over the edge of the table.
"We're not like most packs you've come across, it seems." Laura said, nodding slowly. "The pack members we have are all relatively laid-back, and I'd like to think they respect my decisions - I'm not an ogre, I'd rather discuss than lead, but if a decision needs to be made, I'll make it. I was trained to be Alpha, my mother made sure I knew everything there needed to know about being a great leader. She... was a great woman." Laura paused, swallowing hard, but pulled out another bottle of water just to distract herself. "Forgive me, I must be thirsty." She said, to change the subject.
"The majority of us are born, yes." She could see some hesitation in Aubrey's voice, so she spoke calmly and patiently. "Jeremy isn't, and another possible pack mate, I turned myself. We don't have a problem with how they came to be, just that they are now, and we're happy to have them." Well, not all were, but Laura didn't think that was necessary to know. "Why do you ask?"
