"Well, then I'll try not to disappoint." She smiled, moving towards the house a little more, and finally putting the things on a table. They'd been set up for the full moon picnic, and hadn't yet been put away. But it was a relatively nice day outside, so Laura didn't see the need to put them away yet.
"Thank you - me and my brother are very proud of this place." And it was true - at the very least, Laura was. They came from having no one but each other, so slowly gaining a thriving pack of both werewolves and slaves. She didn't want to influence Aubrey's decision at all though, so chose to leave her recruitment speeches for another day - she didn't want to scare the girl away.
"We have about 100 acres, and yes, this is our only home. And the preserve too, of course." Laura explained, motioning around them. "We're planning on extending the house so that we can accommodate more pack, actually. There's four pack members aside from myself - my brother, Mir, my uncle, and his companion, and they all have their own personal slaves, as well as our domestic slaves - it's all a work in progress at the moment." She neglected to mention Scott, not wanting to explain the boy's reluctance to join the pack. Laura paused, and laughed gently.
"I'm sorry if that sounded like a sales pitch, that wasn't my intention - I just get overexcited when I talk about them, I suppose." Despite the complications that occurred, Laura was proud of her pack.
