Scott had yet to demonstrate an interest in exploring that avenue with him – had even insisted upon sleeping on the floor next to him rather than at his side in the bed – and he had always found it best to let people move at their own pace. It just meant that he would have to work on his domestic talents, which were sorely lacking, and try to find different ways to please. “He is not so different from what I have known, I suppose...”
