"I know you're not." The younger were mumbled, scratching the back of his head as he followed the Alpha to her office. His nerves actually had nothing to do with the fear of being hurt. It was actually the same feeling that he had always gotten when his mom found out he had been doing something he shouldn't have and knew he was going to be paying for it somehow. Which made sense in a way he supposed.
"Right, uhm.." he started, thinking over the eight weeks he spent with Deaton. "He kinda explained to me that the word 'pack' isn't just a word you, I mean we use"
Scott was still getting used to including himself when talking about anything werewolf related. Everytime he would say they, Deaton immediately corrected him by saying 'we.' It was still a hard to remember sometimes though.
"A pack is more than family, more than a bond. It's makes each member stronger and all members are loyal to each other." Scott continued, hating that he probably sounded like he was only reciting it out of a book. He just didn't want to make an idiot by stumbling over his words. "We just talked and stuff. He helped me out alot with my way of thinking before going to see him."
