The second kiss was better than the first, just a touch more intense. There was nothing overwhelming about it or his presence, as Sebastian appeared content to advance as slowly as necessary. That eased any worries she continued to hold, and Darcy allowed herself to melt into the kiss, actually disappointed when he pulled away.
Unlike the few she'd kissed previously, Sebastian knew what he was doing, and it showed. His confidence set her further at ease.
