Sebastian's blunt discussion of the subject matter was a reminder that, eventually, she would be expected to sleep with him. Losing her innocence had always seemed a trifle frightening, but at the same time Darcy longed to understand the things everyone spoke of with such reverence. She had always imagined her first time being with someone she loved and who cherished her, but reality was never so romantic.
Unused to talking about sex so openly, Darcy shyly averted her gaze, her face aflame. "Uhm," she agreed intelligently. She couldn't help but wonder what Sebastian enjoyed, what would be expected of her, and if he would respect any limits or boundaries she might wish to set.
She would inevitably find out.
Taking the phone, she looked it over briefly, toying with some of the options and whatever minor settings she was allowed to fiddle with. Darcy hated to admit that she felt safer knowing she could contact Sebastian at any time should something happen. He seemed serious about ensuring her safety, and Darcy had no other defense that wouldn't land her in serious trouble.
"Thank you," she murmured distractedly, wondering if she was hitting a record with the number of times she had said it. Sebastian was spoiling her.
Her attention was drawn away effectively when bottles floated through the air. Lips parting in surprise, Darcy looked from the objects to Sebastian and back again, recalling his earlier mention of magic. What a wondrous thing!
She watched, taking mental notes on how he prepared the drink, then accetpted it with a warm smile. "That is amazing," she said honestly. "I've never seen anyone do that."
