Sebastian was quite pleased with himself. The house was completely up and functional. The domestic slaves seemed content with their work and lives. His family had always been a little more lax with their slaves, wanting them to be happy in their lot in life. They allowed the domestic slaves to form relationships with one another and if any children were born, they were kept with the family instead of sold or traded off.
According to the most recent report from the family financial advisor, as well as Bash's own personal one, their money was making money. All he needed to do now was watch the market and make sure his investments stayed strong. This, of course, left him with a lot of free time on his hands. He worked daily on his potions, stock piling many of the popular ones he sold and used. Even still, he was often bored which was also part of the reason he'd purchased Darcy. She was something, or someone, to help him pass the time. They had gone shopping yesterday to get her a closet worth of clothes, undergarments, shoes, and accesories. While they'd been out, he had purchased some things for her that he'd give her once they were more comfortable with each other and their relationship a little further along.
It was late afternoon on Tuesday and Bash was sitting out on the back patio with a fire burning in the outdoor fireplace and a vodka tonic. This was his first drink of the day and likely his only. He was lounging in chair with his feet up, watching the flames flicker, wearing a pair of low rise jeans with a brown leather belt and a pale grey Henley. His feet were bare, being warmed by the fire. When she came into his line of sight, Bash smiled and looked up into her face. "Care for a drink?"
