Jenna didn't know that Emerson knew for certain what her status was. Sure, she'd been fully examined upon being captured and taken to the holding pens, but hadn't known that they'd actually written some of their findings down. She'd simply thought that they would give the answers as the questions were asked and Emerson had never asked. Then again, she'd alluded to the fact.
Avoiding the potential awkwardness, she smiled and shrugged. "I'll make it a part of my weekly routine. If there's anything you don't want me to touch or see, just put it in a drawer."
Jenna pouted. "Now you're making more work for me. I'll find out and then make him listen to Gretchen's stuff. What do I get?" Smiling, she looked up at him through her lashes.
