As she continued to sing the song she'd written while constantly on the run in her life, Jenna thought about how her life had been very isolated. Sure she had made friends in every camp, but because they moved so often she never heard from many of them ever again. That was part of why she had wanted so badly to settle down and why she had wanted to become a slave. Even if no one ever truly understood her reasoning, she could smile to herself and be proud of her choices.
When the song finally came to an end, she breathed a cleansing breath and then opened her eyes. There was a big smile on her lips. Music always made things better. As she adjusted back into the room and not her thoughts, she felt a shift. Looking around, she saw Emerson standing in the door watching her. Blushing and with a shy smile replaced her big one and she got up to out the guitar back in its place. "Oh, Emerson... Was I too loud? I'm sorry if I disturbed you."
