Seph's eyebrows instantly shot up her forehead. Her own little sister was not seriously about to pull one over on her! Her eyes opened up wide at Peyton. "What? Pey! Wai-," Yeah, like she had a chance of stopping Peyton. Her sister was so damn evil.
Beau was just watching the exchange between what he'd figured out were obviously sisters with a lopsided grin on his face. He glanced at the retreating sister and then looked at the remaining one, whose name was apparently 'Sephi,' and smiled at her. He waved a hand toward a corner of tables. "Anyone of these are in my section," He told her with a winning grin and just the slight hint of a southern/western accent.
Seph's cheeks fought not to turn pink. She offered him an anxious little smile as she was well aware that Peyton wouldn't bail on her like that with a 'go talk' warning if she hadn't seen a connection and now Seph was down right nervous. She glanced at the section and located a booth that was in the corner at the window. "That'll be a good one," She told him.
"After you, then," He motioned for her to go ahead and then reached out to catch her when she tripped over the tip of his shoe. He smiled and helped her get her balance back. She was definitely blushing now and he thought it was pretty adorable. "Not a problem," he waved it off when she apologized.
Seph headed for the booth and slid in. Beau leaned across the table in front of her - and holy crap did he smell good despite working in a restaurant - and grabbed the menus from the end of the table. He set one in front of her and in front of the spot across from her.
"Well, my name's Beau, officially, and I'll be your server," Beau smiled at Seph and moved to hold his tray in his hand to fidget with it. "Can I get you something to drink while you're waiting for your sister to get back?"
Seph cleared her throat and glanced back in the direction of the bathroom. "Sure, I'll just have a water, and she'll have an iced tea," Seph barely managed not to grimace at that order. Ew, cold tea. "Thanks," she added a little awkwardly with a small smile.
Beau grinned and nodded. "A water and iced tea, no problem. I'll bring those back and give you a few minutes to look over the menu," he smiled and turned to make his way back behind the counter to start getting their drinks.
