The Marvel universe and the DC universe has coexisted side by side forever. Both worlds blended so seamlessly together that not one soul had known there had been a merging on two worlds. There of course were some changes like Beatriz da Costa working for SHEILD instead of becoming a Justice League International member of Carol Danvers joining the Justice League of America instead of The Avengers. Even couples had changed as well but it was so seamless that it was unnoticeable.
But as years go on adventurers get married, have lives and have children. Roles change, capes and cowls are passed down from one generation to the next and soon the new generation is picking up where the old one has left off. They learn like their parents before them that once you knock one baddie down, another will step up and take its place. The fight goes on, the only thing that changed is the cast.

Where you wake up is not where you fell asleep last night. If you don't sleep at all, you certainly wouldn't expect to find yourself in this place. You're in bed, warm and comfortable under the covers. You yawn and stretch and try to come alive...maybe you turn over, and when you do, you realise you are not alone. Chances are you have never seen the person in the bed with you, but you realise pretty quickly that person is just as much a victim as you, and the two of you will have to figure out how to survive in this new world. Thankfully, even though you have woken up in the same bed, there is a second bedroom and you can each have your own living space.
You are in a high rise apartment building. The apartment where you find yourself is fully furnished. There is a pair of smart phones on the bedside table, each bearing a name. Guard it with your life, it is a lifeline to others who have found themselves in apartments throughout the building.
The view outside the picturesque windows reveals the bright lights of Los Angeles. Ah LA, a city full or broken dreams and impossible odds. Don't go walking out alone, you never know what you'll encounter, especially after dark. No, it's not your imagination, the shadows really are alive, and you probably don't really want to know what's lurking deep within the darkness watching and waiting...

Just off the coast of Maine, there is a fabled and mysterious school: the illustrious St. Margaret's Academy of the Gifted. It is one of the best and most exclusive private schools in the world. Their staffing is excellent, their exchange students are polite and well-spoken and their sport teams bring home plenty of trophies. What is not particularly well-known, however, is how they select their students.
There's a reason for that. St. Margaret's only takes in students that have been touched by the supernatural. There are, of course, the usual suspects - vampires, werewolves, witches and psychics - but there are rarer creatures as well: currently, the school also boasts a djinni and a Gorgon, and there's even rumors of there being a dragon... All of them are welcome, as long as they're sentient teenagers who do not feel the need to eat human beings. At St. Margaret's, they will receive an education of the highest standard, while also learning how to integrate themselves flawlessly in the human world without giving the game away.
