One moment, you're just another somebody. You're living your life, doing whatever it is that you do. It's just another normal day - whatever normal might be in your book. Nothing to see here. Just going about your own business.

But then the wind picks up. And suddenly there's a bright, blinding light and a heavy, impossible pressure in your chest and on your brain. For a few terrible moments, you're crippled by it all.

Then, just like that - it's all gone. The wind and the blinding light: vanished. That painful pressure: like it never happened. But when you open your eyes, when you climb back to your feet - that's when you see it. Everything has changed. Whatever you were doing, wherever you were, whenever you were... you're not there or then anymore. You're somewhere new. Some place you've never been; not like this.

You've just been sucked through a Time Vortex. Somewhere out in the multitude of galaxies and universes, someone punched a hole through the fabric of time and space. It spidered through all the galaxies and universes and, lucky you, you got sucked right through and dumped out here, with the rest of us.

[info]throughtime is a Panfandom GPSL. The setting is anywhere and any time. While characters will begin in one location, they will be able to change it. The locations for this RPG are dynamic - there are things characters can accomplish in order to change their surroundings and, together, travel through time and space in an attempt to make their way back home.

X-Project: An X-Men Movieverse RPG on Livejournal [20 Nov 2012|08:27pm]

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

Name: JONO STARSMORE

Date of Birth: November 1, 1985

Powers: Telepathy and psionic energy bursts

Status: POTENTIAL X-MAN - AVAILABLE FOR APPLICATIONS.

Jono Starsmore Slightly rebellious son of middle-class English parents, Jono managed his mutant powers with minimal issues until the Great Mutant Headache of X2. The pain caused him to lose control of his psionic energies, blowing a hole in his chest and destroying the lower part of his face. Incredibly, he survived, ultimately arriving at Xavier's to learn control of the blasts. Control wasn't forthcoming, but the embittered loner found love instead, in the form of Paige Guthrie. A further powers accident cost him his entire body, until a daring plan by the genius Forge (who harboured his own feelings for Paige), enabled him to fully reconstruct himself. The bliss of a whole body was not to be, and an encounter with Kevin Ford cost him that hard-won form. Eventually he was able to partially rebuild himself, and he and Paige returned from Muir Island Research Facility, Paige to resume her work in the medlab, Jono to resume teaching Music. The rigors of the school - and the team's presence there - proved too much, and after several months Jono decided to try life outside, moving into an apartment in Salem Center. He continued to teach music at the school and maintained a low profile. Currently he is on tour with a local band, looking to rediscover his musical roots.

X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and while we accept new characters we strongly encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.

Check out the Wiki and the advertising community to see what's available. Readers are highly encouraged! If you're looking for X-Men based entertainment, X-Project welcomes you to read along and enjoy the ride!
