Known as the "Forbidden Isle", Niihau lies 17.5 miles across the Kaulakahi Channel, southwest of Kauai, and the crescent-shaped island of Lehua is positioned 0.7 miles north of Niihau. On the island, one can find the only natural lake of Hawaii, called Lake Halulu. Since 1864, the island had been privately owned by the Robinson family. The island was mostly inhabited, save for a few small villages, but the Robinsons family would rent it out to groups of people. The tourists used to able to visit the island through a limited number of supervised tours, including diving, hiking, and hunting safaris. Slowly and surely the Robinson family started to die off and after so many generations and in 2001 the Andersons finally decided to sell the island that had been in their family for years. They decided to offer it up to friends first, and the Orton’s had been their friends for 20 years or better. Their son, WWE Star, Randy Orton, jumped at the chance to purchase the island. He really wasn't sure what he was going to do with his own island, the people that had lived on the island cleared. So it was his, entire well, all his and his boyfriend at the time, John Cena, who chipped in a large sum of his own money to purchase the getaway. Read the full story. So if there is anyone that you've ever wanted to play, then by all means come here and play them! The sky is pretty much the limit, though we DO have the right to turn characters away we don't believe will fit into the community. Examples Jesus, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson and I'm sure you get the point. We hate to turn anyone away, but we do have our limits. Other InfoWe'd like to note that this group is HET, Slash and Femmeslash friendly. We also accept dark lines; we give you the right to be as creative as you want to be with your own lines. We also allow you to bring your lines from other communities that you may have left, or were closed down. For decades, a virus has been rumored to exist and little was known about it's origins, what it was capable of, or if there was a cure. Dubbed the "Shanti virus", it attacks the nervous system of it's host and, in most cases, it is fatal. In late December, 2007, a vial containing the virus was shattered, destroying any hope of ever coming up with a cure. After that, things began to happen rapidly. People all over the world were becoming infected and people were dying by the millions. By June 2008, it was obvious that the impact of the virus would surpass that of the Bubonic Plague and even AIDS. Hundreds of millions of people were dropping like flies and there was nothing anyone could do to stop it.
