The transgenics have been holed up in Terminal City for a year with the Seattle PD barricading them inside. Max is struggling to serve as a leader for the transgenics while simultaneously trying to figure out the runes that continue to mysteriously appear on her skin. Logan continues his work as Eyes Only from the relative safety of Joshua's (and formerly Sandeman's) old house, and he and Max are both continuing to search for the elusive cure to the virus that forbids them to touch. Not to mention the Conclave is hard at work as well. Ames White is continuing to head up the mission to get rid of Max and ultimately wipe out the rest of the transgenics. The Conclave is doing it's best from within the government to spread hatred and distrust for the transgenics among the general public while preparing for the day when the average humans will be wiped off the planet and they alone will survive.
The world is still broken, America is still in shambles and despite the safety that Canada offers to transgenics, they're spilling into Terminal City. Housing is starting to become scarce, food rations are at an all-low, and tempers are running high. Now that they've tasted freedom, the transgenics aren't happy with being kept in yet another cage and they're beginning to talk about fighting back. Starting a war. Things are starting to heat up and while things are currently at a standstill, it won't be too long before someone will be forced to make a move. Will it be the transgenics or the rest of the world who blinks first? |
