Summary: Lucifer and Metatron send their representatives on their way. The walk is hazy and disjointed, as if the path to the place refuses to be remembered. Upon their arrival, they know a battle is to take place. Who will win? Balam...or Mitch? What will be the consequences of this fight?

Summary: After Blythe told him of her vision, Mitch has done what he had promised to do: to be careful. But when Sal stops by, the firestarter's intentions to "be careful" burst into flames.

Summary: Having basically solved the first riddle, Mitch, Kamina, and Dorian head off to the monster caves in search of the talisman. This will be one wild and exciting adventure for the three of them.

Summary: Lucifer has set the area surrounding Asgard on fire. The garden maze, the greenhouse, the barn, etc., are all on fire (for those who feel particularly worried about anything that might be in the buildings - this stuff can be repaired later.) What will the people of Asgard do?

[OOC instructions: First, Lucifer will not be in this thread, unless something particularly special happens. Second, because this thread covers three or more large areas, characters do NOT have to interact with EVERYONE in this thread. Stick to interacting with the people who are in the same area. If someone is working on the barn, then they shouldn't be talking to someone over in the garden maze.

Also, because it is possible that TONS of people reply to this - and I welcome that - there is no posting order. This is going to sort of be a test. Do not employ a tag system, either - simply give everyone a chance to reply as best you can, but don't feel like you have to keep to a strict posting order either. Also, try to keep in mind that some people might want to have participated in this but not thread their involvement - that simply means that they were working on the other side of wherever your characters were, if it was the same location.]

Summary: After the events with Blythe on New Year's Eve, Morana beging to worry about if she will ever have the capability and nerve to 'fight back', so decides to go back to the little church she went to before. Wanting to honour her promise of not leaving Asgard on her own, she asks Mitch to come with her, and he accepts. Now, all that's left to do do is wait and see what will occur...

Summary: Although Mitch is in the “holiday spirit” now, it doesn’t mean that he still doesn’t think about what happened to him in November. While he tries to distract himself by gathering some materials for Christmas presents, he runs into Balam once again.

Summary: Sal takes Mitch back to Niflheim under false pretenses and then fights him on Niflheim's lawns. Banru keeps an eye on Sal from a secret location, his magick keeping the killer from being hurt. Sal, once beating Mitch, drags him into Niflheim to find and kill Midvalley. He has it set up in such a way that Jazz is there at the time Mitch confronts Midvalley. Meanwhile, Eileen and Henry regroup and return to rescue Mitch.

Summary: Those in Asgard who are interested join in the masquerade Henry, Dorian and Metatron worked to plan out and create. Notably, Lina is absent - she stands at Asgard's door, pointedly awaiting any "idiot" who wants to trash the celebration.

Summary: Banru and Sal have planned on a good cop/bad cop routine to help Banru gain Morana's trust. Sal, after spying on Morana, catches her outside the grave marker and roughs her up just in time for Banru to 'save the day'. Mitch also gets involved.

Summary: After the first part of the first trial begins, and everyone is brought to the ceremony, each character is led individually into the place beyond the door to meet Sphinx, who will give them their trials.

[ooc: As helpful instructions, the order (though it doesn't have to be done in order OOCly, ICly, story-wise, it will) of people will be Mitch, Light, Mello, Blythe, Flauros, L, Jazz, Frank, Wesker and Maria. This is the order that the characters will be called in and given their riddle by Sphinx.

Every character is expected to post to THIS, not to other comments in this page, to start interaction with Sphinx, so that every character has a 'thread' with Sphinx within this page. This is to speed things along so that everyone gets their riddle in a somewhat vaguely timely manner, even if other people's schedules make them faster or slower to respond.

Characters will not be able to interact with anyone other than Sphinx in this thread, as Sphinx will be the only one present aside from the character entering the room, always.

However, in running into Mitch, the first person to stand up for her in her entire life, her social skills might also see improvement.
