While the others were talking about how to cross the bridge, Lilly was examining it from a straight on angle. So far all of them were right. The bridge appeared to be quite unstable; like it wouldn't be able to hold much weight. Then she realized something; would their leaders be so cruel as to give them an impossible task? Lilly didn't believe so. She couldn't see Jophiel as being malevolent, and even Lucifer would have wanted his people to win, or so Lilly told herself. So the bridge had to be safe for all of them to cross.
"We should go in pairs. That way, if one of us has trouble, the other one can help, and vice versa," the detective suggested.
She looked at the bridge again, and begin to think about something. The bridge looked as if though it had been used quite frequently, and it did indeed look like people had crossed this bridge at some point. If the bridge was unstable, if it swayed, then most of the momentum would be around the center area of the bridge; the mid-way point. Lilly herself had a good idea of fear. She knew that one could be frozen in fear, and stay that way for a while. If that were the case, then the boards around the mid-point would be the weakest.
"And we should be extremely cautious of the boards around the middle. Those are going to be the weakest due to stress," she calmly explained.
