Who: Lilly Rush, and open to George Marks.
When: Early evening.
Where: Asgard's kitchen.
What: Extremely joyful about Asgard's newest member; Lilly decides to drink coffee.
Rating: PG-13 for possible swearing, and mentions of violence.
Right now all Lilly wanted to do was march straight over to Jophiel, and demand to know how the hell he could have allowed George Marks onto Asgard's side. She wondered if the whole thing was a mistake, a fluke, and her nemesis was supposed to be Niflheim's side. The detective considered going to the angel; in fact she had stalked around his door earlier, but ultimately decided that her efforts would be in vain. Feeling just a bit hopeless, she made her way over to the kitchen. She wasn't going to cook; knowing her she'd probably burn down the kitchen. Instead she was going to get a cup of coffee, and mull over the situation.
After making the coffee the way she wanted, Lilly sat down at the table, and proceeded to stare at the wall. Her thoughts were centered entirely around him. Why was he chosen for this side? Had he changed? What had he experienced during his death before coming here? Would he be a constant thorn in her side?
First question. Why was he chosen for this side? Was there some bit of goodness inside of George that only Jophiel could see? Was it case where Jophiel felt pity for the man, and wanted to bring him here? None of these answers were satisfactory.
Second question. What had he experienced during his death. before arriving here? Lilly had been asked to join this game sometime in 2010; five or so years after killing George. George, however, had acted as though he'd just been killed before arriving here. So, she supposed that he had experienced nothing. "What was that one verse? The living know that they will die, and the dead know nothing," Lilly sort of asked herself, but already had the answer.
Final question. Would George be a constant thorn in her side? Just knowing that he was around was enough to make her grimace on the inside. At least the two of them didn't have to share a room. If they did, Lilly would have demanded to be moved, or she would have moved to Emptiness. Rooming situation aside; she still had to figure out this last question. Perhaps she could try and avoid him for the duration of their stay, or whenever one of them had to leave.
She just hoped to God that George wasn't going to ask her to go hunting with him, because knowing him? That meant the two of them hunting each other.
