L frowned, taking a moment to try to figure out an answer for her. He hadn’t really considered what he wanted out of this. If Asgard won, and he was given a choice, he would probably not be content with any sort of afterlife. L needed challenges. He needed to be L, as that was all he really knew how to be. It was all he been satisfied doing. He couldn’t just be any detective; he had to be the best.
If that happened though, L could foresee a number of complications arising, but those aside, he realized that is what he wanted. “I wouldn’t mind being L again, but I am not sure if that would be for the best.”
