The morning started the third day that Lilly had been in this new place, and after getting practically nowhere with the information, she decided that she needed to gather information in some other way. It annoyed her that one of her teammates refused to give out any information, and it annoyed her even more when he told her that she was new to the place. She hated that. She hated the idea of having to start at the bottom rung once more, but she knew that she needed to prove herself in some way. A feat that might prove to be a tad difficult, since there was a good chance that the place had a few super powered beings.
Oh well; if she wanted to do something then she had to do it herself. After taking a shower, she put on a pair of black slacks, a dark brown long sleeved shirt, a black jacket, and black shoes. Then after grabbing breakfast she was on her way to Emptiness. When she reached the town, Lilly was awestruck by the place. The place looked cleaned, and functionable, but true to it's word it was empty. There was nobody else there that Lilly could see. She walked into the town, making sure to examine the buildings. One of the things that struck out to her was how there was no set theme for several of the buildings. Some of the structures appeared to be modern in design, while others looked historical, and still others looked they came from science fiction, or fantasy books.
She was incredibly weirded out though by a specific building, and that was only because it looked exactly like McGinty's Tavern; a bar that Lilly and her partners would frequent on Thursdays. Of course this was from the outside, and there was no promise that it would be the same on the inside. Still, it bothered her a bit. She wondered for a moment if other people had seen buildings here from their own homes, and made a mental note to herself to ask about this later. Right now she wanted to see if she could find someone to talk to.
