She couldn't help but laugh at Cuthbert's reaction to her. "I-I apologize, I'm not used to people acting this way." she said with a small smile. "And, anyway, just call me Alessa."
About the whole defender of man thing; Alessa wasn't so sure if she really bought into all that name meaning stuff, but then again she did know that in history, names had been important. Plus, she had tried to defend man from an evil god.
"So, anything you're hungry for?" she asked. First out of curiosity, and second to get more of a gauge on his personality. "The kitchen has pretty much anything and everything you could want. Come on, I'll lead the way!"
With that said, Alessa slowly descended the stairs, making sure Cuthbert was still following her. In due time they finally made it to the kitchen. "And this is the kitchen."
