It was a good night for wandering, Reno decided. Of course, most nights were, and he often did, but after the strange events of the recent odd day, he had a lot on his mind. And so he let himself meander about Emptiness, wherever his feet happened to take him.
His feet, apparently, decided he was headed toward the outskirts of the Asgard property. As he approached, his pace slowed, cautious of the territory, though he gave the enemies' house a curious look. He caught sight of figures on the porch before he was near enough to identify them, and moved a bit closer, mildly hopeful that one of them might be Maria, and that he might be able to catch her attention in some surreptitious way. It wouldn't be the first time such a thing had happened.
But as he got closer, it became obvious that Maria was neither of the people present. Reno identified one at a fair distance--both for familiarity, and because white has a distinct tendency to stand out in the darkness--and sheer curiosity got him close enough to try to figure out who the other was. He had never met the woman, though from what bits of description he had managed to collect, his best guess was that she was Blythe.
By this point, he was quite sure he was close enough for one or both of them to have noticed him, so he raised a hand lazily in greeting, giving Rufus a notably curious glance.
"Taking a vacation?" he inquired jokingly, as he stopped a few feet away from the porch, close enough to be heard easily, and far enough that he was unlikely to be accused of trespassing.
