When Rufus commented about Yako, the healer could only agree with him. True, trouble found the girl frequently, but any lesser person would have been torn apart by it. Blythe had no doubt the girl was more than capable of surviving in that place, especially because she had people there who looked after her. It set her heart at ease.
Finally reaching the porch, Blythe turned on the first step when Rufus made to mention her impending marriage to Kain. For a moment, she really was surprised he spoke of it - not because it was kind of him, but because she didn't know Niflheimers knew. It must have been something somebody told him. But if others in Niflheim knew - a more nefarious sort - then she would probably have to warn Kain about a possible attack.
Smiling warmly, but now a bit more reserved than before, she ascended to the top of the porch. "Thank you, I appreciate that." She didn't know how to really respond to that. What could she say without becoming too personal? "I suppose it comes as no surprise to either Asgard or Niflheim. I would think it is the appropriate step in most cultures, is it not? To marry." She shook her head softly. "It wasn't in my world, but...I'm certainly not complaining."
Stepping aside, she indicated the general vicinity of the swinging bench on the porch, expecting it would somehow encompassed when she swept her arm in that direction. "You may have a seat, if you'd like."
