((DDD:!! Don't worry about it, hon! I'm so sorry to hear that your grandma broke her shoulder, you don't need to rush on our account! I hope she gets well soon! <3))
Banru was slightly disappointed. She hadn't let out a peep! Now that wasn't any fun. If she was just going to go silent and limp on him then there wasn't much point in this.
"Tsk tsk, Morana." Banru said, his voice cool and calm as he reached forward and yanked her hair out of her face roughly and likely quite painfully. Pulling upward, he forced her to look him in the eye. In contrast to his grip on her hair, he brought his other hand up to tip her chin up almost delicately. He wasn't smiling. "It's rude not to look at people who are talking to you."
He slapped her again, this time on the opposite side of her face, not loosening his grip on her hair so that her head was not able to turn with the force of the blow. He felt a few strands of her hair pull free of her scalp. That must have hurt.
This time, the barest of smiles curled at the edges of his lips. "Aren't you going to fight back?"
