“I would hope that everyone can rein in their emotions and think for a moment. We cannot afford a schism within Asgard, especially when we have no sense of the Niflheim’s additions.” Zefiris looked over them all with a critical eye, lingering over their de facto tactical leader, Kain. She approved of Henry’s more levelheaded approach and could dismiss Blythe’s reaction as fluctuating hormones, but Kain’s rather ‘judgmental and antagonizing’ response was certainly not a trait she would look for in a leader. “Such visceral reactions will lead us nowhere. The fact that Vader has disclosed his relationship with Myre should be a more-than-adequate act of trust on his part.”
“I do not know much of this Myre’s power, but if Vader is willing, we can use their connection for our benefit. With his knowledge of her abilities, we can better defend ourselves against her.” She turned towards the subject of the conversation. “I have no aspiration to turn her allegiance from Niflheim, but would you disclose such information to us? I understand that it is a breach of the inherent trust between a master and his apprentice, but we are left with little recourse in such a situation.”
