Dorian had wanted to go to the meeting, but he couldn't. He wouldn't have the mental capacity to absorb every bit of information that was presented him. So Quigby was sent in his stead. As Dorian had been a member of Asgard for over a year's amount of time, it was to be expected that seeing Quigby would not cause the other members alarm. He was, after all, quite a familiar figure in the library when Dorian gave him free reign.
Clearing his throat, the man with the top hat and cane began to channel whatever thoughts Dorian presented him. "I am speaking on Dorian's behalf when I ask, what are we to do about any alliances we may have to Niflheim? Some of our enemies have presented themselves as friendly, though many of them have used this as a means for deception. Other enemies are relatives." He was referring to Alessa's brother Alex, but his mind was on Mitch's father. This inquiry had not meant to be an attack on Balam, but Dorian did want to know: if Mitch and Balam continued to see each other, what would be the cost? There wasn't a doubt that Dorian wouldn't go all the way for his brother, but he was scared of punishment on his behalf.
"How do we know to trust not only ourselves, but each other, if one of us is engaging in pleasant, friendly conversations with Niflheim?" Quigby declined from staring at anyone for that last part, because he knew many people, including Dorian, were "guilty" of doing so.
