To finally have these plans come together made Banru a very happy man indeed. To him, the period of time that it had taken to come to fruition hadn't felt like a very long time, but the immortal sometimes had trouble keeping track of time correctly in the first place.
Making an example of a traitor in order to "motivate" the less motivated members of his team was something that he was greatly looking forward to, as he would not tolerate anyone causing them a disadvantage, intentionally or not. Especially not with the next trial right around the corner. He was still slightly vexed that they had lost on the last trial.
So he set out eagerly when Carrion informed him that he was ready to move. And as Banru reached the third floor, he almost missed the man lurking in the shadows, quietly awaiting his arrival. Banru straightened the cuffs on his jacket, and gave the Midnight Prince a respectful nod, before a grin slowly crept across his face.
"It is good to see you again, Carrion." Banru said, his tone respectful, but light. "I believe we are in for some excellent entertainment, tonight."
There were few in Niflheim that Banru actually had an even slightly positive opinion of, and Carrion was one of them. The man was a bit stiff and solemn, but then, so was Banru when it got down to the wire.
