Reno eyed Flauros warily as he made his way to the door and disappeared from the room. He spent enough time around inveterate liars to notice when someone was just a little too pleased with himself. If only he knew why.
It only took about a second after the door shut for him to at least figure out that his suspicions were justified. There was no malfunction he could think of that would justify every noise-producing device in the room going off at once, at significant volume, with several of the most annoying sound patterns known to man. This was planned. He cringed visibly at the sudden flood of noise, and a moment later was at the door. Locked.
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," he muttered, nearly inaudible over the racket, then banged his fist into the door. It showed no sign of budging. He glared at the door as if it were his worst enemy.
"FLAUROS, YOU BASTARD!" Not that he really expected the man to be able to hear him, given that he could barely hear himself.
