Summary: Sandalphon has found out that Banru was the one to steal some of Metatron's feathers. Furious, she accepts Banru's invitation to a throw down, but Banru has no idea what he's gotten himself into. A fun time is had by all (except Banru)!
Banru had been wandering in Emptiness ever since he had informed Sandalphon that it had been him who had taken the feathers. It was not a smart move, no. But even he was prone to stupid mistakes when he was provoked. The immortal had never taken kindly to being insulted, and especially not being called anything close to worthless. It hit far too close to home.
So any and all caution he had exercised around Metatron was thrown out the window. So what if he had no idea what sort of power she wielded? He was crafty enough to come out the victor even in his weakened state.
At least, that was what he believed.
When he came upon a tall old brick and stone library he paused, before turning and climbing up the stairs and opening up the wooden doors. The smell of old books hit him immediately, and he saw an unmanned desk and rows upon rows of books. It was not unlike the old library that he had a hazy memory of from his mortal lifetime, though that did nothing to lighten his spirits. He strode forward, running a hand along the spines of the books. He appeared to be in the history isle.
As thrilling as this all was, he was anxious for Sandalphon to find him. He could hardly wait to see how she thought she was going to teach him a lesson.
