The horse let out a sharp snort of surprise when Blythe ripped her hand away from it's mouth, and the laughter that Kain had been holding in from the moment that Blythe had first arrived at the barn erupted full force. He was forced to grab onto the stall door to keep from falling due to his laughter and Blythe's "assault".
Odin's blade, he couldn't believe that she had actually fallen for it! This had gone better than he could have ever imagined, even if he now had a large streak of horse slobber on the front of his shirt.
Kain tried to reign in his laughter for a moment, in an attempt to form a coherent sentence. "B-Blythe, most horses are..." he paused, gasping in a bit of air, "Harmless! Totally harmless! I was just--I just wanted to see if you would--" his voice cracked, and whatever he had been about to say was lost to another wave of laughter.
He wasn't ever going to forget the look on her face when the horse mouthed her hand.
